Bought this for my Panasonic FZ1000 which used the 62mm aspect of this filter. While the filter fit the camera just fine, because the filter accommodates two different sizes it was too large and did not allow me to put the lens hood or lens cap on while it was attached. This is incredibly inconvenient if you need to use the lens hood or want to store the camera because you'll have to take the filter off. I ended up returning the item and getting the 62mm Hoya filter instead.

One complaint with this item is that it is not weather sealed and does not come with a cover like some other lowepro camera bags do. However, I was able to use the bag in the rain while I walked around DC and my camera and other items did not get wet. While it managed to keep everything dry, I would've liked the extra comfort knowing it was weather proof. My other complaint is that the pockets on the outside do not zip closed. While this allowed for quick access to some things I felt like I needed to put more valuable items inside to make sure that they didn't fall out or get stolen (crowded New York street) and also to keep them dry. With that being said, the bag is light and comfortable to wear while walking around all day which is very important in a bag especially if you will be out for long periods of time. The bag also sufficiently held my Panasonic fz1000 superzoom camera (not a small camera) and accessories as well as other personal items like cell phone etc. Overall a good bag for anyone who wants to pack a small camera kit and personal accessories while walking around. The bag is best suited for favorable conditions and can endure some light rain so if you're looking for something that you can carry out into heavy rainstorm then look elsewhere. Otherwise, highly recommended if you're looking for a sling bag and will be using the bag for what it was built for.

Great camera for travel

Bought this camera shortly before taking a trip to the DC/Maryland/New York area so there wasn't much time to get comfortable with it but I have to say it was easy to get accustomed to the controls and ergonomics. At first it seems like a pretty large camera but it is actually really light and easy to carry when walking around. The convenience of not having to carry extra lenses also helped a great deal in that regard. My girlfriend is pretty small and has small hands and she was comfortable using it for long periods of time while walking around the city. She's also more of a beginner photographer so she spent most of her time on the auto modes but the photos came out great none the less. The 25-400mm reach is sufficiently wide angled while also giving you the zoom you need to capture details you might not have otherwise been able to. The image stabilization worked great and allowed for sharp pictures even when fully extended. One major concern with fixed lens long zoom cameras is the low-light performance but I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of this camera. I was able to walk around New York at night and photograph camera buildings, people, and even managed to take some pictures inside a nice restaurant thanks to the silent shutter feature. Performed really well at higher ISO for fixed lens without a fixed aperture. I'm still working on mastering the camera but from what I've seen this camera is a great buy especially in this price range. It's a great camera for travel due to its convenience and also accommodates both beginners and avid photographers alike. I would highly recommend this over other super zoom cameras in this price range and even some more expensive cameras.

What is the weight of this camera and lenses? Is it really 17.6 lbs. as the ad states?
While I don't own this camera I have used it before and I will tell you that it is nowhere near 17.6 lbs. I believe the camera with kit lens installed and battery inserted is listed at only 16.5 ounces, so a little over a pound. It is a very light and compact camera system.
