Stellar Sounding Vinyl!

This is my favorite album by The Dead! I have it on CD and the fidelity is less than impressive.
Not this 200g vinyl edition. It's clean, detailed & warm. This is by far the best presentation I've heard of this album. I know it like the back on my hand but I'm hearing so much more in the mix compared to any other version I've heard!
My only complaint is the packaging it came in: not a very sturdy cardboard envelope with no markings that a vinyl record was enclosed. Needless to say, it wasn't handled very well in transit and the packaging was bent and hence the album jacket got bent as well, thankfully no there was no damage to the actual record. But...wish I had a pristine jacket to match that pristine vinyl. If your a Dead fan and have a good turntable I highly recommend this 200g edition. You won't regret it.

I needed to replace an aging Gateway laptop and did a lot of research with looking for a few specific features in a new machine.
This Lenovo had everything I was looking for: 17" screen, 1TB HD, CD/DVD drive, Bluetooth, etc.

A Nice Unit At It's Price Point

I needed a new CD Mixer for an upcoming DJ gig as my old unit was having an issue with one of the CD drawers.
I checked out this Gemini unit and thought it would be a good unit to have as a backup after my other unit gets repaired. I used it for the gig and it performed very well considering it's price point.
I liked that I could build different playlists on a USB stick and relay play between the two. The only real downfall of this Gemini unit is that the USB inputs only provide track numbers and no track name, etc.. So I don't think I'll be storing 1000's of songs via USB but only specific tracks per gig needs. It is handy that you basically have 4 sources in one unit that you can play from and it's very easy to switch from CD to USB & back again on the fly. All in all for what this unit costs it a lot of value.
Just wish it provided USB track names.
