Needed to install an electrical outlet to accommodate the power cord. The old dishwasher's power cord did not have a plug on the end. The new outlet was required to meet code.

This dishwasher is a big improvement over our previous dishwasher. It is very quiet and has a larger interior capacity. By holding a bigger load, we don't have to turn on the dishwasher as often.
