I had to purchase this camera a day before traveling to Alaska as my dependable Canon did not work. I decided the smaller camera would fit in my pocket but needed good zoom. The camera was awesome!!! I was able to get shots of sheep at the top of a mountain that looked like white specks from the road. Lots of features recharged the battery each night never an issue. I'm very glad I purchased this camera

Does the camera comes with usb cable? If not how do i transport the pictures to my computer?
It didn't come with one but I used my kindle cable and it worked fine. It also has its own wifi and an app with which you can upload to phone or computer over wifi without connecting with wire. Was not compatible with the latest apple OS.

Does this camera have the multi-shot, timed settings, self timer feature of other Canon cameras?
Yes. I used the sport mode while whale watching and got multiple shots of a whale and can pick the best later

Can you see the screen if taking vacation pictures outside in the sun?
Yes and I was in bright sun often
