Soundtrack is just a download

I bought this physically mostly because I read it came with the soundtrack. I was disappointed that it just a download link for it though.
The game itself is fun. It's not super great, but it's very competently made, and they've added some extra content through free updates. The only thing that disappointed me is that the relics (powers you can find in each stage) are not equal in terms of usefulness and that there weren't even more non-boss challenges in the challenge mode. There's supposed to be another update coming out later that will add a third playable character. The Shovel Knight amiibo adds a lot more fun to the main game with even more abilities and local co-op, but paying ~$10 for a small statuette and an add on to a $15-20 game seems a bit expensive.

For $150, the monitor was pretty nice, but I'm not sure if I would pay $200 or more for it. The setup was very easy. The glossy finish on the screen makes the colors look nicer, but some people don't like the glare it can have. I haven't had trouble with glare, but it's really a matter of room layout. It has no buttons besides the power button, so you must adjust all settings on the computer. Be sure to keep the disc it comes with! Also, the resolution is just average at 1920x1080.

Very easy to use; some mild annoyances

Setting up the Chromecast is extremely easy to do (just plug it in to the TV and power, connect via your phone/tablet/computer, and then it'll do a short update). The Chromecast is very easy to use and works perfectly with high resolution videos streaming. The phone/tablet just acts as a remote so you're not wasting a ton of battery watching videos. You can also cast your phone/tablet/computer screen to your TV although there is latency in doing so which depends on your device and WiFi connection.
I've noticed that sometimes my phone will disconnect from the Chromecast if I use other apps for a while or have the phone off for an extended period of time though, but it's easy to reconnect. Also, there are no options for adjusting the resolution of YouTube videos and you will likely need to turn overscan off in your TV's video settings if you don't want the image to get cut off on the sides (my TV unfortunately does not have this option but my mother's did). In addition, the audio comes only from the TV, so you can't use headphones unless they're plugged into the TV. There is an app for streaming from your phone to your TV that does allow for headphones, but it only works for videos you have saved onto the phone/tablet/computer, you must manually adjust for the latency, and it does cause considerable battery drain.
Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase despite these small annoyances.

Can these be used for a TV?
They can be used for a TV if the TV has Bluetooth audio or a Bluetooth audio transmitter attached. The headphones are APTX compatible so there should be negligible latency between the visuals and the audio. You can also use a long cable to connect to the headphone jack of the TV, but you must connect to the included cable (use a female to male 3.5mm cable) because the end that goes into the headphones is proprietary and won't allow any other other 3.5mm jack to go in. Also, the bass boost feature is only available when using Bluetooth.

Any 3.0 or higher Bluetooth adapater should work with these headphones, but if it's not an aptX bluetooth adapter, you will notice a significant amount of delay between visuals and sound if you try watching videos. Some programs will allow you to adjust for such delays, but it's annoying to do so every time you want to watch something. You'll also want to use the adapter with only the headphones to reduce interference.
