My purchase was inspired by needing a TV and seeing this one on a great sale. The employee and I talked about the 3 HDMI inputs and component outs which would allow my Chromecast audio to be passed on to my tuner. Definitely a good set up.
My biggest complaint is with the custom "User" video mode. If you set a custom profile of brightness, color etc. it gets saved as "User" (as compared to built in modes "dynamic", "game"...). Then if you are in "dynamic" mode and adjust the settings, it automatically writes over your "User" settings.

I am really glad I decided on this chromebook. It is reliable, the display is decent, the keyboard and track pad could be better. The speakers are great for their size. The performance is good for the ram.

No, it is not meant for coding or writing programs. This device can do some of those tasks but this is not a full computer. Please consider a different option.
