This has been our go-to keyboard for a while now. It seems that they may have made a change in the most recent purchase making it a bit more of a soft-touch, which I don't care for. (I prefer more of a "click" when I type.) It's a great keyboard thought - it replaced the earlier one because I wore a few letters off the keys.

Great Receiver

We decided to buy the Denon and retire our old Sony to a different part of the house. We have several zones in the house, and deck, and were looking for a way to tie them together to the same audio zone. The Denon does have two zones, however, it is important to note that zone 2 will not allow playback from another digital source, so, if you want to play audio from a cable box, for example, you will need to go HDMI out to zone 1 for its audio, and run analog out of the cable box into an input for zone two. Nevertheless, the sound is great on this, and I was able to get around playing the same digital audio across multiple zones by plugging the FR and FL audio into a 4 channel A/B splitter. The receiver has plenty of power to drive our 4 sets of speakers set up, and I ran zone 2 from the receiver into the "B" input on the switch, so you can have two audio sources playing from different sets of speakers.

Will this receiver's A/B switch let you play both pairs together?
Can I play both sets of speakers as my main front at the same time?
The biggest issue with this receiver is what audio sources you are able to play from the Main Zone and Secondary Zone. You WILL NOT be able to play digital sources off of zone 2, so, the only way I was able to get this to work easily was to by a 2 source x 4 channel switch from a different source, which this receiver was very capable of driving our 4 sets of speakers. I connected the FR and FL speakers to the A input on the switch, and connected zone 2 to the B input, so, able able to play different sources on all 4 sets of speakers, or, zone 1 across all.
As a lot of audio relies heavily on the center channel, you can get around this by using the mono mode on the speakers. It works nicely if you're watching a football game or some sporting event.
