Only @ Best BuySafeguard your equipment against power surges with this Dynex™ DX-SF125 4-outlet surge protector that features a 500-joule rating for reliable protection. Two USB ports enable charging of compatible mobile phones, tablets and more.

2.1A don't seem to be enough to use both usb ports at the same time.

I have noted that when I connect any combination of: iphone 6 phone, samsung galaxy 5 phone or ipad air, both devices start having problems with charging. what happens is that both start to connect and diconnect, and not charging. Is this because 5V and 2.1A is the max i can get from both USB ports combined, and not each. or why?. This means I can really only use one port at the time when charging my devices?
I use both ports at the same time. One to charge my iPhone 6 and the other to charge my Mophie case for previously aforementioned iPhone 6. I've also charge my phone while also charging my Samsung Galaxy tab pro 8.4.
Maybe one of the ports on yours isn't wired correctly? I don't know, I'm not an electrician.
