This Si-Fi movie is an interesting mix of characters displaying post-WW2 and Cold-war era issues at the same time presenting a multi-racial and ethnic cast that is unusual for that movie period. It was also interesting how they used "future tech" as ways to reduce the cost of special effects and other production issues! How many can you spot?
Interesting early cold-war-era film. Lab scenes appeared technically accurate for the period. Scenes using a period mini-sub and other equipment and operations was also very intriguing.
Interesting WW2-era propaganda film. Good blending of real war footage with film. Enjoyable DVD extras reproduced movie experience for 1942 moviegoers.
