This is a must have item for anyone who travels with their MacBook. I travel for work on a regular basis and was unfortunate enough to encounter an improperly constructed desk. A screw was protruding 1/8 inch through the surface. Thank goodness I had the case as it scratched the bottom as I slid my laptop out of the way. Damaged the case, but protected my Mac!
