My husband decided to buy the first season because it was on sale and we wanted to try something different from what we normally watch. When I saw what he picked, I wasn't too sure about it because I don't normally get into this kind of show. We blazed through the 1st season so fast...I couldn't get enough of it! We followed up with the 2nd and 3rd seasons when we found them on sale. We loved those, too! I was so excited to see this 4th season on sale...and in Blu-ray!! We watched the whole season in no time at all. We are definitely still hooked! :)

I watched the first Hunger Games movie and I have to admit that I wasn't too sure how I felt about the storyline and such. It's kind of a strange and eerie concept. However, I watched this second movie and now I'm officially hooked! If you can get past how creepy the concept of the actual Hunger Games is and if you can just keep in mind that you are just watching a movie, you should enjoy this. I even found myself growing attached to more of the characters than I did in the first movie. :)

I went into it with no prior knowledge of the story, etc. I thought it was a pretty good movie - visually interesting and the story was intriguing because it's different from anything I have watched recently. My husband thought it was pretty good but he prefers the book.
