I want to split up the system and use it in two locations. 2 cameras at my primary residence and 2 for my RV. Is this possible? Will I need to buy a second router?
it has to connect to the base, so you will have to buy 2 systems. These are not traditional IP cameras

No, you can use a web browser on a PC as well
