Mad Men was a great series that took you through what life was like back in the sixties & seventies era in the corporate world of advertising. Was hooked after watching the 1st episode. Don Draper is a complicated character and you need to pay attention closely to his role in the series. There are other twists & turns that are heart wrenching, liberating & surprising. This DVD is a must have if your a fan & I wish the series wouldn't have come to an end!

Great sound quality!

My husband bought this in hopes to get better sound quality without having to turn up the volume so loud that it's disturbing me in another room on the 2nd floor (even with the door shut). The sound plate directs the sound toward the viewer rather than throughout the room and beyond. Sound clarity is much better also, so he is able to watch TV and listen to it (and understanding what people are actually saying) at a lower level. Haven't tried the cinema sound feature yet but we have high hopes that it will be just as good if not better than the standard TV setting.
