Great sounding wireless speakers

With any speaker system, the key criterion is the quality of the sound that it puts out. With self-powered portable speakers (such as those used with portable music players), the volume output of the speaker is also an important consideration. This JBL speaker is a winner on all counts. It puts out deep, rich, high quality sound. It performs far better than the Beats by Dre pill speaker -- and it looks great, too. The bluetooth pairs effortlessly with a variety of devices: I've used it with an Apple iPad, three different brands of smartphone, and my iPod. I like the fact that is provides the option to connect a wired aux input as well, in case you want to use it with a non-bluetooth device. The inbuilt rechargeable battery has performed well so far.

Great build quality; auto return would be nice

In this day and age, it is reassuring to know that one can still get a turntable that has such good build quality to it. This isn't one of the flimsy, plastic-dominated belt-driven turntables that you commonly see. This is a solid, direct-drive turntable, with excellent damping. It starts up and stops instantly. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it can play 78 rpm records, in addition to the standard 33 and 45 rpm discs.
Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of this product, but I do wish it had auto return. I don't like having to rush to the turntable at the end of a record, especially if I'm listening in a different room. It should have been easy enough to include auto-return -- all of my previous turntables (including models from the 1960s) have had some form of this feature.
I haven't yet used the USB output feature of the turntable -- or the software that came with it. Right now, I'm using it primarily to listen to my old vinyl recordings.
An interesting extra that I have never seen elsewhere is a "reverse play" feature -- in case you ever wanted to know what your music might sound like when played backwards! This feature has limited utility for me, but I'm sure professional DJs and mixers might have a use for it.

Will this work with a regular (1990s) stereo (Analog)?
I am an old timer with records going back into the 60s & 70s. My old turn table has stopped working. Would this turn table work without a PC. I want to keep the sound with my amp/reciever.
It works perfectly well with a regular amp -- no ground cable needed, either. A bonus is that this turntable will even play 78s.

Do you have to buy speakers seperate?
Yes. You need to either have stand-alone powered speakers, or a regular amplifier hooked up to the turntable.
