I've had a Fitbit Zip for over 2 years, and been happy with it....i rather hate wearing anything on my wrist. But I really wanted something that tracked stairs and heartbeat. Thought this was it: purchased it in Nov., wore it a day, couldn't stand it on my wrist AND it was racking up steps like crazy since I do a lot of work with my arms and am also a "hand talker", so I returned it. Then I thought I'd give it another chance, because I really wanted the heart rate tracking, so I purchased it AGAIN a few weeks ago, Found out that if you are right handed like me, wearing it on your left hand AND setting it for being left-handed, reduces the step sensitivity. I've gotten used to wearing it on my wrist, though I still can't sleep with it on, a personal preference. Battery life seems to be as stated. As for the "rose gold"/lavender color....I know what I like, and wanted the rose gold color. But basically, unless you REALLY care about that, you may as well get the lower priced "regular" color Charge 2. Even though I paid the extra 30.00 to have the rose/lavender combo, I don't actually think it's worth that....so if it comes down to price, just get the regular one. And stairs - don't stop on the way up or you don't get credit for the stairs. It also doesn't track stairs well if you dash up and skip steps....it seems to only give you stair credit if you keep going and step on each stair on the way up, lol.

Is it scratch resistant. I have the charge hr and it got all scratched up rather quickly. I am looking for an upgrade. Really like my charge hr.
I have the "rose gold" Charge 2. I scratched it on tthe side, in the rose gold portion, a couple days after purchase. Basically my fault, I work with metal and wire and am not entirely sure how the scratch happened. But it's not overly noticible.

Does the Fitbit charge 2, come with the rose gold band or do you buy it separately?
