I own the non is version of this lens. I found myself taking many shots that involved moving insects at short distances and the focus was slightly off. The IS on this lens greatly improved my shots. I really like this lens and for the small price difference I should have bought this one first. Will I sell the non IS version, probably not.

Will it work from an adjacent room?
Up to a hundred feet or so. The pointer is line of sight however.

Excellent choice for Canon cameras. Will not work on EOS 40D however.

Almost all computers can read/write to this card. This card works best with modern cameras.
