Controls are easy to use and and are not on a touch pad but are actually buttons which are depressed. A red light is projected onto the floor when system is operating and goes off when cycyle completes which is very helpful since controls at top of door are only visible when open. There is a sound made every time door is closed even if not starting a cycle which is a safety backup.
