It's an update from the older air, the speakers are quite well sounding and unique in setup. The ability of you want a stylus now exists and the ambient light sensor is pretty unique.
I'm not sure where this improves from my old air but for some due to memory sizes might be a plus. Overall it's ok but don't feel it's a huge leap, for others that may be debatable.

Nice addition for the new light strips

Unlike the old this allows the strips to be extended. And fit areas where the old would require multiple desperate strips. They could have made the connection spot better so it stays secure. I used some shopping tape that's clear but it can still slide. Just use this in an area of minimal movement or folks hitting..
Also the only other thing is to make sure you don't cut the strip because you can't extend the old or the new if you do.

These are definitely brighter than the old, they indeed can be used where regular light bulbs would be used. I have these in areas like the kitchen counter and normally use at 50% but when needed putting it up brightens the room greatly!
