The 5 Amiibos that launched with the game are just beautiful. They are probably the most detailed Amiibo to date. I was disappointed in the price hike from 12.99, but in the end I believe it was justified.

I was very eager for the Switch to come out. After the Wii U, which I had no issues with personally besides finally being forced to buy a Xbox One to play a few AAA games, I was looking forward to the Switch and ultimately Zelda BotW.
Being a 36 yr old married male with a kid, I don't get as much time to game at home as I used to. It would typically take me months and months to finish a game and I have so many on the back burner I haven't even gotten to. I figured I would be a 80% docked vs 20% handheld Switch user. But in reality it's easily the other way around. I love the portablility. It definitely lives up to the hype. I'm able to play on my breaks at work and whereas 3DS play is noticeably inferior for a guy in his 30's, the Switch still feels like a full console experience.
Obviously, the Switch is not as powerful as the PS4 and Xbox One, so it's still up in the air about third party support ultimately. But I believe if the Switch sells well, they will come.

This is the first original story Lego game I've purchased for the family. My son and I enjoy playing Lego games together (it's about the only type of games that he'll play with me. He'd rather be watching YouTube on his phone :/ ). We're enjoying it so far. We did have a couple of times where the game froze towards the beginning at the police station and we had to restart the whole sequence over.

Wow, I've yet to start the game yet but looking at the very beautiful guide, it is going to be fun deciding where to go first. There is so much to do and the guide lays it all out there. It neatly separates the main quests with the rest for easy guidance without getting lost. I'm newer to games with magic and such abilities and the guide does a good job of explaining the basics and more to me. Nice book!
