In the past it would be really frustrating to fit all the games you play in the PS4's limited 500 GB storage, deleting apps, selling games and not buying some because I wouldn't have enough storage. I do not have to worry about this now with this item. The nice thing the PS4 allows you to do is have this be formatted as extended storage so you get 2 TB for your games and still get to keep the 500 GB already on your PS4. Also this drive makes it easy to move apps around from your PS4 drive to the external drive quickly so if you do not want to keep the drive connected to the PS4 24/7 you can move all the apps you aren't using at the moment to the external drive and back very quickly as you please. Overall a good product to have as 500 GB really limits you with the large PS4 sizes for games.

Bought this TV and it wasn't what I was accustomed to from Sony TVs, especially with my high expectations jumping to the 4K market. Exchanged it for a better model. I highly recommend spending a few extra hundred dollars and getting the 900e like I did if you want a true 4k experience. You won't regret it.
