This is my least favorite AFI album since they got away from the cheesy, early hardcore stuff they were doing back in '97. At best, it's mediocre and halfway through it gets even worse. There is very little rock on this album; it's primarily electronic synth pop. The two singles are the best tunes here. The Best Buy exclusive version is a joke; it contains two terrible dance remixes of 17 Crimes and no other bonuses. I own all of their discs, but this is one I can do without in my collection. A real let down from one of my favorite bands. Save your cash and see them live. At least they currently still put on a good live show.
