When the Nikon representatives Christina and Katie suggested this, I didn't think I needed it, but I bought it anyway. Taking my new 7200 DSLR out to a photo shoot, as I put my camera around my neck, the camera brushed up against a wall...I let out a silent scream... looked at my camera thinking I scratched my $350 lens...what a relief to know it scratched the lens filter.
