Little loose feeling

I purchased this as something for on the go as I really didn't want to have to get more dongles for my MBP but I don't like that it crowds the 1st thunderbolt port when you have it plugged into my MBP. I feel like it should be a little bit smaller. Also the bottleneck on it is CRAZY. I have some USB 3 SSD's and thunderbolt external drives that when I run a read write test on it it SLOWS WAY down! I don't off the top of my head remember the exact numbers but it was significant enough that I now no longer use it. I went and got yet another dongle that didn't have as much bottlenecking.

I LOVE this little converter! I use it almost daily with work and personal usage. I do wish that it had a USB type A option on the front and connected via USB Type C to the computer but those are minor things. It works exactly how it is supposed to and impresses me with how quick it reads and writes almost daily.

For the price this device is ok. I think that it should have some sort of bubble leveler for vertical and horizontal tilt. I have not yet purchased or used the GoPro 3 Way but I think that I will end up purchasing it. I HATE that I always feel like that camera is tilted and you never really know if it is completely level and no one wants a tilted shot or video. If you are wanting a tripod/selfie stick that is inexpensive. Then this product is good for you. If you are wanting to make sure you are getting a good shot that is level or is able to get to stick on something get the 3 Way or a Jobie.

I purchased the S8+ and was very disappointed with the fact that LifeProof had not released a case for it. So I ended up having to wait. Was very surprised at the cost of it!
