Not a great choice for high humidity climates

This is a reasonably priced grind and brew that makes good coffee, but in a high-humidity climate, the ground beans get wet and sticky and make a mess. It is also super loud! When I was grinding beans and set it up to start automatically in the morning, it woke up the whole house sounding like a jet taking off. For these reasons, I never use whole beans anymore.Thankfully, there is a bypass feature that allows you to use ground coffee. Next time I would either buy a cheaper, regular drip coffee maker or a more expensive grind and brew.
