Love this device. Great to use while traveling or just to carry around in your bag. The stylus makes it very handy to use for remote pc use. Traveled abroad and was able to access everything I needed to maintain business.

can the a camera or all 4 cameras be turned on/off remotely through the iphone app to conserve batteries ?
Yes, you can toggle each camera on and off via the app. The system manages the usage of the battery very well on its own as well. If there is light movement in the covered area, the batteries will definitely last months.

The description of this tv says that is a smart tv, that means is able to use the mirroring option with my smartphone, right?
Yes, the Roku app does support mirroring. I have successfully used this function with my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge).

Is there an inexpensive amplifier available for the optical output of my new HDTV?
I have speakers and an analog amplifier from my previous TV. I need something to convert the optical output from the new TV so it can be used through the existing amplifier.
The headphone jack on this TV should take care of this for you.
