Wow. How could they leave her out? :( This whole reboot is so much fresher than the original series movies. TNG... that depends on the movie.
The imagery is just so much better with the computer driven effects. Yorktown station... wow! Come on future, take me away. "Scotch was actually invented by an old Russian woman."... this does mark the loss of two Star Trek figures. Their loss affects Star Trek past and future. How will they replace Anton Yelchin, just really bringing more character depth? Such a loss! And I can't even say anything but... "Live long and prosper!" Fair seas and following winds Leonard Nimoy!!

Was getting the steelbook, got this instead

As much as I like steelbook editions, I liked this cover better (darn brain isn't letting me recall the name for the picture shifting covers.. starts with an L)... anyways. The 2nd movie is at least as interesting as the first. Even though they didn't manage to bring her back, they did find a decent replacement. I actually liked this sequel more than the original. A different choice for the nemesis' actor? Maybe someone more threatening... yep, liked it anyways!
