Ok when I watch films I do so on a 180" movie theater screen with full 7.1 surround sound and the Buttkicker transducer system. This is not to Boast but to give an idea of the clarity that I rate both 4k and 1080p films. 1st off regardless if you are huge into 4k or still collect Blu-ray; I will add that with today's (Oppo) upscaling technology along with upscaling technology on theater projectors that the difference between Blu-ray & 4k is minimal. I will say that going over 180" that you will likely see a difference and recommend 4k for 150"+ screens. So no spoilers for the film but I'll talk about quality. The scenes, colors & visuals were fantastic. The sound was just "ok" and that dissapointed a bit. Kind of bringing me out of the story.. still a good buy, or download!

Its great, bought it without realizing it was the version I already owned from 2011? I will say that going over 180" that you will likely see a difference and recommend 4k for 150"+ screens. I might be the odd person out who found the rateings of this film to be low. I actually liked the film. It did go way off on story and switch from a BDSM mix of sadism to a radical change in the protagonists feeling after a lifetime of living one way.. How? Well, I actually believe the film was correct. Change happens due to the people in our lives and I found myself enjoying this film. Both leads charecters changed a lot. It was a fun story. The Sound and picture quality was on par with the 1st film and that's excellent! I love the sweeping cinematics and set locations/designs. I say give it a try. You might just like th e50 shades story!

The sound is incredible and I catch myself looking over my shoulder when they mix a good sound effect. Some (if not most) tactics are standard and most who served in the armed forces will notice what on/off in a scene. Moving away from what real and not (this is a story after all) I think people should watch this season. Life in the service of our country comes at a cost. I'm not commenting on the story nor context as films that feature combat don't usually sit well with me as entertainment. However if you like combat films this is another one to add to the list.

It was a bit dark (actually dark, not dark as in the context). The story moved along from Awakening but seems very forgettable. Its sad too considering how hard the cast worked on this film. Its fallen from grace. The original trilogy is all Id recommend watching.... I still recommend this, but when its on Hulu or Netflix.. Stream it don't buy it....

Wow I loved this film! The Hollywood undertones with communist undermining fears was so fun to watch!
