The reputation of these units is well deserved. I wanted one last time I bought a modem but was unwilling to part with the $2000 and got another common name product, which workd for 4+ years before it became unreliable... so looking for a replacement I found this refurb unit for about my proce point and decided to take the risk on a refurb. I knew Apple always uses great componenets, so I figured if it works, it will probably continue to work for a long time. What a difference! Strong signal all through my (admittedly small) house and reaches to my car in the driveway and into my back yard to listen to Apple Music while I work.Never drops a signal! Wish I had sprung for this in the first place. I'm going to attach my backup HD to the USB port for Time Machine backups. What else could you want from a router? Wired outlets are as expected.

What I worried about buying without playing is that the machine-made imported units would not be accurate. Not to worry. Action was spot on from the factory and no tuning issues! I can only assume they've nailed the mechanical assembly and use a lot of automation to keep the wooden components right. Or I got lucky! Tone is not as good as a real Gibson, or a Taylor or Martin of similar design, but it's also a quarter of the cost.

Boght as a gift for someone close, so got to use it. I'm a coffee lover, primarily a purist for black dark-roast, so I didn't expect a lot from the convenience- oriented tool It is fast and convenient, but it also tastes surprisingly good for something that gives so little exposure between coffee and beans. The permanent filer also allow you to choose your own coffee and not pay through the nose for the little cups... very cool! Only thing missing is crema.

This pan is about the diameter of a typical frypan but much deeper and made of thicker aluminum so it's well suited to a dish that you'd simmer in it for a long time. I'm single, so I don't make big dinner, s but I do like it for a sort of skillet dinner with a meat and vegetables cooked together for a long time. Well constructed. I love the domed glass lid.

If I buy this product will I need to still have my Century Link modem? If so, is there a monthly charge for Google WIFI? My Century Link requires me to power the modem on and off almost every day.
Yes, you will need a modem. I don't know about Century Link, but I have a recent Motorola and it works very reliably. I restart it once in a while because it's suggested, but hasn't frozen yet. Think of the two this way: the MoDem (modulate-demodulate) converts the signal in the cable or whatever to a signal your computer can understand. If you wanted a single, hard-wired connection, you wouldn't need a router because it outputs to one Ethernet port. The router allows you connect multiple devices to the one router, whether wired or wireless. There are routers (and switches, but I won't get into that) that are only wired, for situations where there are multiple wired computers connected to one port. Hope that helps.
