As a fan of the original i found this movie disappointing. Fun, but not as much as one. More far fetched and silly. Still worth a cheap rental or just wait for it to hit cable.
Didnt really expect this. Loved the violence. I thought it portrayed Wolverine so much better. Really good job of getting the anger side across. Not for children!

On my second playthrough of the game now. Good story. Getting more story on second play as you dont get it all on just one round. Good main cast except main bad guy, i think he is a sissy. The fights with him are cool, but the cut scenes make him out to be a cry baby. Not into girly looking boys or the emo thing or whatever you call it. Good game, good story. The demo didnt grab me, but i had nothing to play at the time and the reviews were good. Got it while it was on sell. Well worth full price.
After discovering an ancient mystery, Lara Croft must travel through Siberia in Rise of the Tomb Raider. Outstanding action, beautiful environments, guerrilla warfare and incredible tombs are all yours for the taking in this third person adventure. Outthink the Trinity and hone your survival skills in Rise of the Tomb Raider.
I understand that Tomb Raider and Lara Croft were before Uncharted and Nathan Drake, but ND does it way better. TR is fun, but it feels like an unpolished Uncharted. The reboots bring Lara to the current age, but it still feels dated. Good game for those who have never played Uncharted. And remember, Indiana was #1.
I have really enjoyed this album more so then I thought I would. There are moments when I hear old Metallica and I love it. I'm not talking old, like the self titled black album, I'm talking old like Kill Em All or Ride the Lightning. There is also some that obviously has a newer sound to it. The album is pretty heavy all the way through. Only really one song I don't care for. They got rid of that tin can sounding drum also, which I am so happy they did. Good album, not good like old school, but for sure one I will continue to put in the old cd player.
Fight the imperial army to reclaim Eos in Final Fantasy XV. You are the crown prince who has been cast aside, so you must travel through Eos while battling extraordinary new monsters, making friends and discovering your skills. Incredible scenery and great gameplay await you in the superbly detailed world of Final Fantasy XV.
I've enjoyed Final Fantasy for years, but this is by far the most annoying addition to the franchise I have played. The combat is fun when it works. Works good in the open, not so much in dungeons. The summoning system sucks, various reasons. The magic system sucks, various reasons. Magic is powerful, but a pain to craft. AP points are a pain. The main story is to easy, while some of the end game dungeons can be super hard. The story is riddled with holes. They spent a lot of time with the side quests and extras of this game, but the story in my opinion got the short end of the stick. I've never played a Final Fantasy before where I felt the story was this weak. All that aside though, the game was fun to play, hard for me to put down. The side quests were addictive. Loved the fishing once I got the knack for it. The short comings were not enough to make me put the game down, If you have never played a Final Fantasy before I don't think it is the best one to start out on. For those that have been a fan of the franchise for years, I think they will see what I mean.
Old school thrash straight up. Testament knows how to get the job done. Sometimes the lyrics can be a bit goofy, but for the most part they are alright and the music will have you banging your head.
Terror abounds in the made-for-TV miniseries event Stephen King's It. The film is presented in a newly matted 1.85:1 widescreen edition that is modified from its original form (in other words, black bars have been inserted onto the top and bottom of the original full frame transfer). The image appears to be in better-than-average shape with colors and black levels all solid and well defined. While there appears to be some softness in the picture, overall this transfer should please horror fans everywhere. The soundtrack is presented in an apt Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo mix in English. Since Stephen King's It was originally produced for TV, it's no surprise to find this audio track flat and somewhat boring. However, what this mix lacks in directional effects and fidelity it makes up for with crystal clear dialogue, music and effects. Also included on this disc are English, French and Spanish subtitles. The sole extra feature on this DVD is a commentary track by director Tommy Lee Wallace and actors John Ritter, Richard Thomas, Tim Ried and Dennis Christopher. Filled with some funny asides about the production and witty banter (especially from Ritter), this commentary track is worth the listen for any true Stephen King fans.
The sole reason i purchased this movie was so my daughter could watch. She read the book and loved it. The movie is as corny as i remember it from the days it released on tv. Made for tv King movies pretty much suck. Been a long time since a King novel has been done right in the movies.
