Lifts appliances to an acceptable level

The pedestals are great for lifting the appliances to an acceptable level for loading/unloading laundry. However, I have to tilt the large detergent and fabric softener bottles in order for them to fit in the drawers. This takes up space for other items I would like to store, but that is the only negative feature.

This washer has many amazing features and it works great. At first, I was very annoyed by the loud pipe banging noise when the washer released water because it never happened with the standard top load, My husband installed a water hammer arrestor (9.99 each) on both water lines and it got better but still a little bang.Then he added a conector to the water hammer resistor and life is beautiful---no banging. We've only had it for 30 days so I look forward to seeing the cost savings.

Does the pedestal help if/when leaks occur?
Probably not. The pedestals are actually storage drawers attached to the bottom of the appliances. The pedestals make the units taller. They are great for storing linen and other items. The drawers are not tall enough to store large fabric softener or detergent bottles.
