Incredibly powerful bass, but horrible UI/remote

This is a great speaker, easily too powerful for my little apartment as I try to be the "conscientious neighbor", but the remote and user interface is awful. I bought an open box item, stated as "excellent condition", but did not state it came with no wires or remote. I had spare wires, and ebayed the remote for next to nothing, and googled the manual.
Vizio employs an awful "dot" method to its settings, and seems to reset at every use. Every time I turn on the television, it's a race to turn the bass down so as to not disturb the neighbors. It'd be great if it would remember settings or even have a "day/night" setting. Alas, that's not the case.
If you live in a house or a sound-proof condo/apartment, and like to turn up, this is a great speaker. If your needs are more modest, and you don't tend to want to shake the pictures off the wall, look elsewhere.

Perfect tracker for me!

I love this tracker. I have been using a company-supplied pedometer for years, but when this showed up on sale, I figured I'd get it as a back up, as my old pedometer had 4 years and countless (seriously) miles on it. That one is now resting comfortably in a drawer, and this is my sole stepper (no pun intended). The Jawbone app is great, offering feedback and challenges regularly. It's like having a coach in your phone....
Paired with the MyFitnessPal app, the Move stepper and Up app are a no-brainer!
