I purchased this TV as I was looking for an HDR TV. There are multiple types of HDR and this TV supports both. That was my determining factor. The picture isn't quite as bright as some of the Sony/Samsung HDR TV's that I looked at, but those do not support both types of HDR. This has built in Google Cast /ChromeCast support and that is really nice. It also comes with a tablet remote. The remote is essentially a cheap android phone (minus the phone). You can easily do the same things with your cell phone. It also comes wit a very basic remote. Overall I am really pleased with the unit. I did have trouble with the TV losing connection and not being able to "cast" from Netlfix or anything else. Vizio had me reset the TV and we have been good to go since then. This TV does not include a tuner, so you will need a cable box or something like that to watch TV. This is essentially a computer monitor. You should consider that before buying. Also, WatchESPN does not cast at the moment. I am not sure why. I think the app may need to be updated, but for now it doesn't work.
Samsung 28" S271HL U28E590D 4K UHD Monitor: See all of your photo's details during editing. Video game levels look amazing. The large screen allows you to have multiple windows open at once to get more work done.
I am looking to buy something to run my 4K graphics from my Xbox One X. would this monitor (Or any monitor) do the job? If not, would it be better to just buy a 4K Ultra HD TV?
This is a good 4K monitor and will work well for your Xbox One X however this monitor does not handle HDR. If that matters to you, you should choose a different monitor or TV.
