This is my second Yamaha of the same model. This one is the newer one and is used for my computer workstation. The other is for the living room tv. I think Yamaha is on the spot for great sound with these receivers. It has all of the typical needed connections for today's gadgets. My only compliant is the ability to dynamically bind different physical audio interfaces to different physical video interfaces. You can accomplish this but its just a pain. At the price, you would think the utility features would have a better user interface. LCD interactive panel etc. Its not terrible by any means, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased the model again but from a programming stance, just a little annoying.

This product does the trick. It was a little pricey honestly but you are paying for quality and not just a connection. I'm pleased with the purpose. My only compliant is that it was difficult to find in the store, even for several employees. It was only found in the Magnolia section instead of where is should have been with the audio receivers that required this adapter to hook up a single sub-woofer that comes with home audio speaker systems.
