Great lens with minor flaws

I spent 2 months trying to figure out if I wanted to shell out the cash for this lens. I committed when I had to take a trip and didn't want to carry 2 different lenses. The lens did not disappoint. I have had it for 2months now and I still love it. The wide range is perfect for a variety of shots and alleviates the need for carrying additional products. The downside as mentioned in other reviews is the "creep". The lens will open if camera is pointing down(gravity always wins) but this can fixed by hitting the "lock" button on the lens. The zoom seems a bit stiff but I don't mind that because it makes it easier to adjust in small increments when taking pics.

Money Saver and great addition to home automation

Have 3 earlier generation Nest thermostats for my home and my tenant. One "died" due to faulty wiring by the electrician that caused a "burnout" of the battery (that's my advanced technical summary). Got the 3rd gen and love it more than the others. It's like when your new baby comes home and you have to hide how much more you like it from the other children.
Works the way it's supposed to, the auto away feature is a major money saver for someone with a varied schedule. Integrating with my Nest cams and the security/temp regulation in my home is complete.

The product itself does what it is supposed to do. Securely holds your phone...until the clip breaks. I have gone through 2 of them already and on my 3rd one now. It's the only option out there if you want a belt clip that accommodates your Mophie. I am kind of rough on the belt clip so I expect that it would give out on me. It lasts about as long as others I have had with different devices (5-6 months) so I am used to it.

Does it feel "heavy" with the Sony A6000? I'd like to be able to use just one lens for travel.
It is definitely heavier than the "kit" lense but not too heavy. I got the lense for travel with my a6000 as well and I am not disappointed. One lense for all shots. It's worth it.
