I was really looking forward to Seethers latest CD. I find myself gravitating to the 2 tracks that I had heard prior to the CD release. There is 1 other track that has a heavier, grittier sound. I was hoping for more.
I didn't know about this CD until I did a search for the band's name. I decided to give it a try based on the few reviews that were posted. I really think this is a good album. It has an old school Skinny Puppy sound to it. I'm glad I made this purchase.
I had heard a few of this bands songs on the radio and it perked my interest so I purchased the CD. It kind of reminds me of the 90s or so when the bands were coming up with new genres and sounds, so it doesn't really feel very new or fresh. With that said, I do enjoy most of the songs on this CD.
This CD is really pretty solid on style. There is a bit of a laidback vibe to some of the tracks. A couple of them feel a little long & repeatative, almost hard to sit through. But there are also some really cool ones as well.
