My husband bought this switching from an iPhone to this Android. At first it didn't go very smoothly, going from an Apple to an Android. But its been about 4 months and he's getting better. I mean he had the basics, but he is still learning the features and the layout. He really likes it, but it was hard to make the transition. He's 50 yrs. The kids on the other hand have no problem with it!!

I love my Fit Bit. It's super easy to set up, and use. I love that it keeps track of everything, plus my sleep activity. I've actually changed some of my routine and have been sleeping better with the help of this. Plus it gives me daily and weekly reports of my activity. You can check your progress through the day by using the app. I've actually gotten out of bed to get those last 200 steps in. I have dogs so we take a walk outside quick. It makes you more aware of your activity and helps motivate you to do more and to achieve that next goal. PLUS it's syncs with the MyFitness Pal app which keeps track of your daily food intake and exercise. When used together they are fantastic !! LOVE< LOVE LOVE mine !!

Why do I sometimes see 2 flashing LED lights far apart?
That means you are in sleep mode. Keep tapping the band until the lights all light up from left to right, one at a time, then stop to set it to step tracking mode.

Does phone have to remain on for band to track sleep and vibrate for alarm?
The vibrating alarm doesn't come from your phone. The Fit Bit itself will vibrate on your wrist.

I have the fitbit flex wristband. How long does it take to charge.
I have a fitbit. Charged on my computer and all the lights lit up and left it for a hour. When I put it in the wrist band, and walked, I did not see any lights blinking. How can I set up a report for my activity on my phone. I just don;t know how to use it.
You may have the battery in upside down. I've done that. When you put in the battery, just tap the Fit Bit to make sure you see lights, if not turn it around, if you still don't, it could be the battery. I did have to take one back because the battery didn't fit the band tight enough for it to be read. As far as seeing your report, you need to download the FitBit app on your phone. It will even let you know when your battery is low and needs recharging. If you're a visual person just look up Fit Bit on You Tube for videos to watch. It really is pretty simple to set up.

Fitbit Flex - Tracking what you eat
Is this Fitbit Flex good for people with diabetes to track what they eat and their sugar intake?
I actually use an app called My Fitness Pal. here you upload everything you eat or going to eat if you want to check the amounts BEFORE you eat them, to keep track of sugars, carbs, cholesterol, basically anything. My mom is diabetic and would occasionally stop for Culver's custard. She would get 2 scoops with strawberries. Her and my grandma. She has to watch her carbs, so after looking it up on my app, she realized that those 2 scoops had 77 carbs in it. NOT so great for her!! I would recommend getting that app if at all possible. I will tell you everything you need to know about any restaurant's food items. If you're buying from a store, it has a scanning option. you just scan the bar code and it gives you alls the info at a glance.
