I bought this so I could play it with my son. I remember playing Doom on PC way back in the 90s, and wanted to introduce my son to the franchise. The game itself is great. Graphics are really good (XB1), the plot is familiar, all in all, it's something any FPS player would enjoy. BUT, I was expecting to be able to play split screen 2 player, and that's not an option. That is the only reason I can't give this game 5 stars.

Great adapter so you can use your existing headset

My son wanted a better headset for the XBox. But I didn't want to spend $100 or more when he already has a decent headset that just needed a standard jack connection. This plugs right into the controller and gives full audio control and works with standard headphones. One thing to note, when I attached the device for the first time, I almost immediately was prompted to do a software update for the controller. I assume the update was due to the adapter (and updated both controllers), but it may not have been.
One last thing - when I was shopping for this adapter, I only found it in two other online stores, and both of them were priced double what Best Buy had it for.

Case Compatability
Can a protective case be used with the battery cover or does it have to have direct contact with the charging pad?
I bought this for my wife's Galaxy S4, and it fits snugly inside an Otterbox case. The charger works fine from within this case, however, if you have a particularly thick case, you might see slightly slower charge times. The charging pads generally advertise a couple of millimeters as the charging distance. This distance is to account for protective cases.
