Why do people not like this film?

Probably because it has Keanu in it. He's really not all THAT bad in this movie. Maybe just because I'm a Sci-Fi nerd, but this movie is great and I have come back to watch it at least 4 times since it's release years ago. People who watched the "original" 1951 version will always have something to complain about. But this is a MODERN adaptation with a MODERN audience. Leave Keanu ALONE! XD

Very Different, But still Paul Simon

I love it when an artist who has been around for as long as Paul Simon doesn't reinvent the wheel, but incorporates a new sound that makes you want to listen to every track. Paul Simon does this with this album. There are some definite nods to his most well-known album "Graceland", but when he starts singing about getting locked out of his own concert you have to admire his songcraft. A must-buy!

Scorsese makes another great film

Great in 3D but just as good in 2D. There are so many non-original stories out there for films. What I really liked about this movie is it straddles the line between a "kids" film and something adults can enjoy. The alternate world they live in is JUST believable enough. It makes you want there to be magic in the world. Cool stuff.

Not sure why people love this so much...

Yes it's shiny. Yes it looks better than the plastic ones. But NO it does not make you special :P I say this because it's so darn expensive, and you expect when you put it on that your watch will suddenly sprout wings and become magically faster or something. Nope, same old Apple watch.

I also noticed the "loop" stands out like a sore thumb depending which side you slide it through. there is a wide gap that makes this look not as high of quality as it should. It actually looks more like a shiny bracelet than a watch band (the ladies might like this more than the fella's). As a guy I just didn't like the look.

I took mine and am enjoying the Sport Band that came with my original.

Cars, but with PLANES!

It's Pixar so it's not going to be bad regardless, but i had just a little bit of deja vu watching this. As a big "Cars" fan the plots of the two films were just a little too similar. Still a pretty good movie. I think Pixar needs to get a little more brave with their story lines and not have it be about the "plucky car/plane/fish" that can win! That being said it's Pixar...and fun.

Noir Ultra-Violent Crack Addict Film

The first film was really balanced and the narrative felt hashed out. This just seemed to be a mess with blood spraying everywhere and LONG narratives about nothing for no reason. I know that's what this particular director is known for, but sometimes too much of something can be.....exhausting. Maybe worth a rent?

Just sit back and have fun and suspend belief for a little while because that's what a good action movie is supposed to do. I think these are even a bit better than Shrek in that they have a moral behind them and the way the Dragons are characterized and brought to life are pretty amazing. If you have father/son issues be careful and get ready to try not to cry XD
