I was not even aware this technology existed. My thanks to the Best Buy associate who called my attention to this cable. I did not perform a test of quality with and without this cable, but I assume I am getting the best sound quality possible. The cable was not that expensive, so why take a chance on lesser quality.

We installed the drive and we use it as a back-up disk. Once installed, we do not have to think about it. The drive is out of the way and takes up very little space. It always works. The price per GB was good. What more can you expect from a hard drive?

how thick is this cable?
The cable appears to have the diameter of a typical HDMI cable. Probably 3/16th of an inch.
