I checked various websites for a 3-way splitter that would work well for me without noticing any signal loss. I hooked this bad boy up and it is running two coaxial cables to modems (one for internet, one for phone service) and another coaxial cable for my digital cable. No signal loss whatsoever! I researched this modem before TWC upgraded their internet speeds. I am very pleased with this purchase. Speeds are greater with the sb6183 than what TWC said I would get with upgrade. Best Buy matched Walmart's price and I got this for less than $100. No longer paying TWC for modem lease. That shaves some $ off my monthly bill. Definitely happy with the sb6183!
