.I have had several chromebooks in the past and all have been good and getting better. This is the first one which is outstanding. If you don't need specialized Windows apps, this is the machine for you. The touch screen is excellent, great for both mouse (bluetooth built in so no port needed for blutooth mouse) and touch. Open the lid and the unit is one, takes no time to boot up. Totally recommended.

Incredible DVR

This is an amazing DVR. Other TIVO DVR's are excellent, but this one is incredible. Six tuners, 3 terabytes of hard disk space, amazing abilities to fast forward with reasonable voice, or even faster (about 3X) with captions, other fast forward options significantly better than DVR's from Comcast or Dish which I have used. It is able to skip commercials with a single press of a button. Its search function which covers all the streaming services plus Comcast is second to none. I no longer need a bunch of remotes controls (e.g. ROKU, Amazon, etc.) and the device is already 4K ready. And the tech support is great! Totally recommended.

Way better than plastic band which watch came with

Looks way better than the original black rubber band. But more important to me is that it is VERY easy to take on and off whereas original band was fairly difficult.

Will the bolt record streamed content from NETFLIX, YOUTUBE, AMAZON PRIME VIDEO etc, or will it just stream them. Internet WiFi connection only. No cable tv service provider.

It only streams them, not records them. Sigh.. That would be great, but TIVO doesn't do that.

It does record shows from your cable TV. And playing recorded shows on your TIVO is GREAT! E.g. you can skip commercials by clicking a single key. Or go slightly fast forward (30% faster) and still listen to relatively good audio. Or Fast forward even faster (about 2-3X) and see closed captions which makes it fast to watch shows and still keep up with dialog.

I also like how easy it is to just use one remote control while watching Netlix, Amazon Prime, etc.
