I needed more ports, due to the fact that the ISP router only gives 4 ports to begin with, in order to ensure my home entertainment center was going to cut it. I have 2 in my bedroom, one in the hallway, and one in the staircase so the kids can see when it's "potty time" during the night. I had done soooo much research going in before buying this. In the end, I am glad I did. Very easy setup as the Google app walked me through adding all 3. I had some issues when it came to speed, as my sq ft of house is 2200+, but that changed when I moved one of the children AP. Now I consistently see download speeds of 700mbps and uploads of 645-650mbps.
