Great for work but not Homework

Very compact, not bulky, very light weight. I can pretty much take this everywhere I go. I don't have to deal with it crowding my bag or being heavy.
I use this alot for my photos and only thing is that it's advertised as having all day battery life. Actually, maybe it's just me and my work, but I work alot with photography and music so I'm constantly uploading and working with photos and music and the battery drained real quick. Easy to plug and charge but I was really hoping I wouldn't have to keep doing that.
Overall, it's a very robust computer. I wouldn't suggest for students tho....the word processing doesn't seem to great. A bit difficult to write papers with Apple unless you purchase certain software/apps.

Yes, but it depends on your settings. The manual that this camera comes with can show you how to do this. But there are also great lenses that canon makes that are spectacular in making a bokeh effect.

How well does this work indoors and with portait photography indoors/outdoors?
Im a portrait photographer looking for an affordable upgrade. My current camera is not an slr and does not work well indoors. Also its limited on settings so Im curious as to how well this one does.
