This is much better than the last Manfrotto compact tripod I used to have. The quick release plate is more like a screw rather than the actual flat plate that usually attaches to the camera. This is a great feature! With a quick plate, you would still have to wiggle it out and with this new screw on, it is a much faster quick release. It's so compact and light to take on your travels.

i bought this for my Canon 5D Mark III. Didn't like the thought if spending so much money on the original Canon battery and very expensive battery. I bought these batteries and they have served me well for half the price. I can recharge these batteries with the original Canon charger that came with the camera.
I highly would recommend to buy these batteries rather than the original Canon batteries. I also used these for my LED lights, as they were also compatible with a battery adapter. It lasted a few hours!

A Hassle to use

I bought this to use for my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge. First thing that I didn't like was that I'd have to keep taking my phone's case off to usr with the armband. I guess I thought it would be big enough to just slip my phone into this but it's a hassle to keep taking off and putting on my phone's case each time I use this. The second hassle I found was that this armband kept sliding down my arm, it wouldn't stay in place. I ended up returning this. This is also a very tight fighting case in itself. It was difficult trying to get my phone back out of case holder for this armband. I ended up returning this item.

How well does this work indoors and with portait photography indoors/outdoors?
Im a portrait photographer looking for an affordable upgrade. My current camera is not an slr and does not work well indoors. Also its limited on settings so Im curious as to how well this one does.
