Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but having a 5.1 setup just doesn't appeal to me anymore. I don't have that much room for an extravagant speaker placement, equipment etc. This is the perfect solution. I have the sub tucked away behind a corner chair, and the sound bar is placed below my 47" Vizio TV. Good, clean performance from the sound bar, and the sub packs a good wallop. I did my homework before buying, and Vizio is the leader in sound bars. I have another model for my other TV (the 3821w-C0), which is also very good. Very happy with my purchase.
