I shoot Canon 5Dmkii with a series of EF prime EF lenses. I was looking for a smaller camera for when I didn't want to lug around a DSLR. I wanted a Mirrorless camera so I did my research and opted for the Sony a6000. I was so impressed with that camera that I upgraded to the Sony A7ii. This camera is incredible. For those non photographers out there you can just put this baby in auto and just let it do its thing. For those of you that understand photography, Thanks to the 5 axis stabilization you can handhold this camera at 1/5th of a sec and not have any issues. Sharp!!! It's simply magical. I've only purchased one Sony lens. The 28mm f2. Love that combination!! I also invested in the Photodiox canon to e-mount adapter so I can use all my canon lenses. The autofocus is considerable slow so sports is def out of the question. But at least I don't have purchase a whole new Arsenal of glass. If you're on the fence about this camera trust me you'll have no regrets. Sony is stepping up the game.

i shoot canon full frame but really wanted a smaller camera with plenty of manual custom capability. This camera is exactly what i needed. super autofocus and mirrorless speed. i was sold. i dont shoot much at night with this camera so I'm not sure about low light noise but this produces astounding images in daylight or well lit areas. on a side note I can even use my canon lenses on it with the Photodiox adapter i purchased for only 99. bucks. Don't hesiate if you're trying to decide. It's well worth it!!
