Prince of darkness is one of the better John Carpenter films. This blu ray is one of the better transfers, and has quite a few great features including some fun commentary.
Based off the Douglas Adams novel of the same name, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency follows the eccentric titular detective (played by Samuel Barnett) who uses the concept of fate and interconnectivity to solve crimes along with his hesitant sidekick Todd Brotzman (Elijah Wood). All eight episodes from the first season of the BBC America sci-fi comedy-drama are included in this release.
Although not directly following any of the books there are a few homages scattered about. Instead, this goes in it's own direction and really manages to capture the ethos of the character. If you're into the general chaos that is a holistic detective you'll enjoy this series.
This album has all the hits, plus it is great quality sound. If you're a fan of JJ Cale, but don't necessarily want to carry around all of his discs, this one does a good job of covering the good stuff.
For the price, this is a great collection of white zombie and rob zombie's solo work. A lot of great stuff here, although not a definitive addition by any means.
This release features every episode of the third season of the Comedy Central series Drunk History, which enlists celebrities to recount historical events while imbibing on their favorite adult beverages.
This isn't the classic that Goldfinger or Dr No is but it is still an awesome film, and this blu-ray does it justice. It looks great, the extras are fantastic, and it really does have some cool action scenes as well.
The movie takes place in between some of the continuity of the show. It still features everyone's favorite characters, and the plot is really well done and exciting. I would highly recommend.
