The box info said it's pci express 3.0 16x and it's not. Plus it only directx 11.2 not directx 12 which the box say. When playing video games it lags really bad.

Is this compatible with a MacBook Pro? and do i need to upgrade the bit if am upgrading the memory?

First look up the model of MacBook and make sure it takes it. My Mac mini take it and it's now run at 16gb of memory since I brought two 8gb.
