I bought the open box version and it works perfectly.
It is able to split one HDMi signal into two ( HDMI cables not included, 3 required) with no loss on signal.
I am using this to split the comcast cable signal into two TVs. Since the Set top Box is the same, both TVs get the same channel, but quality is perfect.
You may need to switch off the CEC program in the TVs else when you switch off one tv, the other will reset its HDMI port.

Only 2 HDMI ports in TV, how to connect a 3rd one?
My new Pansonic has only 2 HDMI ports, that I already use for PS3 and HD cable. I'm getting a new Panasonic home audio system with blueray , also requiring HDMI plugging, how can I add it to my tv?
