A Great Installation Job

We purchased a new washer and dryer, and had them delivered and setup, and the old appliances removed.
Our appliances were delivered in a timely manner. The installers were courteous and efficient. They were careful moving the appliances through the house. The setup job was done correctly the first time. We were given a short training course on using the new appliances, which was very helpful because this was our first experience with energy efficient washers and dryers.
We were very happy with their work. They made us feel good about our choice to make our purchase at Best Buy.

We went to our local Best Buy store and talked to a very helpful associate who helped us understand what we were getting into. We found a set that we really liked, and to make things even better, they were on sale.
We had the appliances delivered and setup, and the old appliances removed. The installers gave us a quick course on using the new washer and dryer. This was a big help in getting us started with our new appliances.
The bottom line is that we really love our new dryer, and we have no problem recommending it to others. If you're new to energy efficient washers, you need to read the manual and be willing to experiment a little bit. If you do this, we think you will end up loving your new washer just like we do ours.

Some reviewers complained about the units being noisy. Ours is not any noisier than our old washer, in fact, it's usually quieter. Some reviewers complained about the clothes being too wet after the spin cycle. We had this happen once, but after reading the user manual, we made a small change and this problem stopped. Yes, the wash cycles are not as quick as the older style washers, but we don't find this to be a problem.
The bottom line is that we really love our new washer, and we have no problem recommending it to others. If you're new to energy efficient washers, you need to read the manual and be willing to experiment a little bit. If you do this, we think you will end up loving your new washer just like we do ours.

I have many devices that use SD cards. I also use them on occasion to share photos with others. As a result, I always try to have a ready supply of SD cards.
The 16 GB card is a good size for me because it has dropped to a very reasonable price, and has plenty of storage for my needs. I have yet to fill up a card, and if that day should ever come, I have plenty of spares. Also, It's cheap enough that if I loan one out and it is not returned, it's not a big deal.
Of course, your needs may require a larger card than 16 GB, but if so, you should still consider the SanDisk brand. I've owned many of them and they have always been reliable. I highly recommend them.

This is definitely a no-frills mouse, about as plain as they come. If you're someone who needs something more, then don't waste your time here. However, if you don't need a lot of extras (and the high price that goes along with them), them, give this one a try.
I bought two of them - one for my wife's computer and one for mine. They are comfortable in my hand, and so far, they have worked perfectly. I am quite happy with my purchase.

Just What I Was Looking For

There are so many important documents, photos, etc., on my computer that the thought of losing them is very unsettling. Therefore, I back up my data on a regular basis. I've used many types of media for backups over the years, but things have become so much easier since external hard drives became available and affordable.
I do temporary weekly and monthly backups (they are written over the next week or month) on external hard drives. I do semi-annual permanent backups on DVD.
DVD's are a problem. Although I don't have a huge amount of data like some people do, I have accumulated enough that I'm now up to 8 DVD's for each backup, making it painful and time-consuming to do backups. Then, I have to store all of these DVD's. Now, I find that some of my oldest DVD's are going bad. Definitely time to change media.
This 4T drive has solved my problem. I can keep many years worth of permanent backups on this drive and do away with the DVD's. It's simple to do a backup by simply dragging and dropping the folders I want to backup. Yes, I understand that hard drives can fail (been there, done that), so I do have a few archives in other places to protect my data.
This is my 5th external hard drive, and they are all WD drives. I have never had a problem with any of them. Even though some of them are getting to be "long in the tooth", they still perform flawlessly.
If you need a lot of storage space, I recommend this drive.

With external hard drives, flash drives and other media becoming more available and dropping in price, using DVD's may seem to be an outdated way to store or share data. I will admit that I use a lot less DVD's than I used to, but they still have their place.
For me, they are still a good media for permanent storage (backups in particular), and for sharing smaller amounts of data with others. At only pennies a disc, it's so much cheaper than the other types of media.
I've been using this brand for a while, and I can't remember the last time I encountered a bad disc. It's always good to have a few DVD's on hand, and this brand is dependable and affordable.

I share a lot of files (pictures, video clips, genealogy data, etc.) with family and friends. I used to use CD's and DVD's for this, but these flash drives make the job so much easier. They are smaller and more convenient to carry around, and you can buy them with storage capacity that CD's and DVD's will never be able to compete with
Also, they are much easier to reuse. Yes, you can buy rewritable discs, but they are a lot more work. They can also be used with portable computers that come without a CD/DVD drive (which appears to be a growing trend).
PNY is one of the better brands on the market. I've used dozens of them and never had a problem. If you watch for sales, you can get them at a reasonable price.

In today's world, where our devices are full of pictures, video clips, music, etc., the only practical way to backup our data is on an external drive. CD's and DVD's don't come close to having the capacity to save our growing collections of data (and PLEASE don't tell me you don't bother to backup your data!!).
These drives are convenient and easy to use, they can be found in large enough sizes to handle nearly every need, and the prices are reasonable (and they go on sale fairly regularly). I have multiple external drives devoted to different purposes. They are great for backups, additional storage, and even a good way to share large amounts of data between devices.
All of my external drives are the WD My Passport series of drives. They have been very dependable and affordable. If you are considering purchasing an external drive, I encourage you to consider the WD brand of products.
